Amid the times when the coronavirus outbreak is not showing any sign of weakening, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressed the nation and urged the citizens to light a diya/candle/torch/mobile flashlights at 9 pm for 9 minutes on 5th April as a gesture that we all stand with each other during these testing times and nobody is alone.

Just like 5 pm applause call for medical workers on 22nd March 2020, the masses seemed to be excited about the diya lighting call also. At sharp 9 pm on 5th April the nation demonstrated that how they stand united in fight against the dreaded coronavirus.
