The debate on nepotism has resurfaced following the demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Many celebrities including Vivek Oberoi, Kangana Ranaut, Shekhar Kapoor, Raveena Tandon have spoken about it. Apart from this, people even trolled Karan Johar on Twitter. Meanwhile, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has supported Karan Johar justifying nepotism.
Ram Gopal Varma continuously tweeted and targeted those who blamed Karan Johar for Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise. He said that everyone is an outsider before being an insider.
He wrote in the tweet, “Blaming Karan Johar for what happened is ridiculous and just shows lack of understanding of how film industry works ..Even assuming Karan had a problem with Sushant it’s his choice of who he wants to work with, like it’s any film makers choice about who they want to work with”
