Sushant Singh Rajput was born on 21st of January, 1986 in Patna. Sushant the only son of the family is now survived by father and four sisters. Sushant’s father was a government employee and in the year 2000, the entire family shifted to Delhi.

Sushant was as well-versed in studies as he was in acting. Sushant achieved 7th rank in All India Engineering Entrance Examination 2003. He is also the National Olympiad winner in Physics. After school, he also did mechanical engineering from an engineering college in Delhi.

Sushant used to perform in the famous dance group of Shiamak Davar and had also performed as a background dancer at the 51st Filmfare Awards show. He also learned Martial Arts from Allan Amin.
