Shraddha Kapoor’s Bollywood Connection:

Shraddha comes from a family which has been associated with Bollywood since quite a long time. Her father Shakti Kapoor’s Bollywood career as a villain/comedian spans across four decades while her aunt Padmini Kolhapure was a popular actress of her time. She is also related to Lata Mangeshkar’s family from her maternal side.

Despite of this legacy, Shraddha has carved out her own image and today she is considered as a promising actress in Bollywood. The main reason behind her success is her acting skills and cute looks.

Shraddha Kapoor’s entry in Bollywood:

Interestingly, Shraddha was offered a film by Salman Khan, when she was just 16 years old. However, she turned down the offer, as at that time she wanted to be a psychologist. While she was studying Psychology at Boston University in US, the acting bug caught her and she came back to Mumbai for her debut film ‘Teen Patti’, which released in 2010.

Although ‘Teen Patti’ was Shraddha’s debut film, she was acknowledged as a lead actress only after ‘Aashiqui 2’ which released in 2013. In ‘Aashiqui 2’, she was paired opposite Aditya Roy Kapoor and their onscreen chemistry was widely appreciated by the audience.

Shraddha Kapoor will be next seen in ‘Baaghi 3’, which has Tiger Shroff and Riteish Deshmukh as lead cast. It is to be noted that Shraddha and Tiger Shroff were the lead cast of ‘Baaghi’ as well, which released in 2016.
